Actually my reply was aimed at Gforse

Anyway let us know how you get on, and good luck - I would help you but frankly I have no idea how to generate a system image

@ Rainbow: Sorry Rainbow, didn't mean to step on your toes.
As far as system image creation goes - me too.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

If I had an Evoke, I would most likely (99%) be able to help and get @Gforse's tablet working again, alas I don't have one - Sorry

No worries Trashcooky :)

@ Charlie: How would I theoretically go about creating such an image? Obviously I wouldn't want to copy any of my personal stuff / downloads, games etc.

Well Rainbow, if you have ADB access set-up to your Evoke (or terminal emulator on your tablet), post the following details (screenshot is fine) from either of these commands:

Via ADB=

Code: Select all
adb shell
cat proc/partitions

then...
Code: Select all
cat proc/mtd

then...
Code: Select all
df

Or via terminal emulator=

Code: Select all
cat proc/partitions

then...
Code: Select all
cat proc/mtd

then...
Code: Select all
df

That would be a great start :)

This is my first tablet, so I'm still getting used to the way they work. I will have a go sometime in the future though.

HI all

New here and don't know if this post is dead but I have an official Stock rom for the Scroll Evoke from storage options. It has the rom, the program and the drivers required to upload the new image

I contacted them when I got my evoke about a display issue so they sent me a new rom to fix it. Makes the display work better around the edges and stops the icons from half disappearing off the screen when switching from Portrait to Landscape.

If its needed let me know and I will put on my dropbox
