CWM for the Evoke & Other RK3066 Devices

Postby Charlie » February 16th, 2013, 12:15 pm

Hi,

fun_ along with others over at XDA has been working on a version of CWM for the Rockchip (rk3066) devices.

Links:
--> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2102679
--> http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/

There is a list of devices that have a custom CWM image and there is also the generic image for other rk3066 devices - I do NOT know if the Evoke is on there under the "master" design name/number as I don't know what it is nor do I know what it is for my CnM 10.1 Tab' - So I was thinking of trying the "RK30GENERIC_CWM.zip" and see if that works and if not I should be able to get my tablet working again as I have the original .img and program to flash it (kindly supplied by CnM on their website).

REMEMBER:

There is NO original firmware to flash for the Evoke, that I'm aware of, so if it goes wrong you are stuck until one (if at all) is available. As always "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK"
" Just because you could, doesn't mean you should. "

Perhaps you would like to share it with others by hosting on dropbox:

If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!
